As a Security Officer Unarmed - Patrol Driver in Yuma, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter incidents. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document details for site leadership and Allied Universal management.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify security-related concerns and report maintenance or operational issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access for personnel and/or deliveries, and help to deter unauthorized activity while supporting traffic flow and facility rules.
• Assist with incident reports, communication logs, and shift pass-downs, and support emergency procedures, evacuations, and other security-related responsibilities as needed.
