Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance and/or access concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access in accordance with site policies, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or operational issues through required channels.
• Support access control, traffic flow, and/or after-hours site coverage while maintaining visible presence and providing clear directions and assistance to employees, contractors, and visitors.
