As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Belmont, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly, and support a welcoming environment while demonstrating Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License with at least 1 year of driving experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous material concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notification procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor and document access control activity, visitor entry, deliveries, and contractor movement in accordance with site-specific requirements.
  • Complete detailed patrol logs, incident reports, and shift communications, and promptly report maintenance, access, or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
