About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Site Observation in Matteson, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, and maintain accurate incident, patrol, and activity reports.
  • Support a professional, service-oriented environment while helping to deter unauthorized access, theft, and disruptive behavior.
