As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Communications in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, parking areas, entry points, common areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or property concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting observations and reporting incidents to the appropriate contacts.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
  • Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications to support continuity of operations.
