About The Position
As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Detail in Alpharetta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking lots, trailer yards, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, deliveries, and/or vendors, verifying credentials, maintaining required logs, and reporting unusual behavior or policy violations.
- Support truck gate, dock, and/or parcel movement operations by observing inbound and outbound traffic, helping to control access, and communicating security-related information with site representatives.
