About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Detail in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or faculty by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe on-site activity, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Support a professional campus environment by giving directions, assisting with routine inquiries, and following Allied Universal post orders and reporting procedures.
