As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Credential Review in Olive Branch, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. Using communication skills and technology tools, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven culture through teamwork.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to designated areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report access-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
Document observations, patrol activity, incidents, and maintenance or security-related concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
