As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol CPR Support in Ashburn, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and community members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a school district location.
Respond to incidents, student or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate school personnel and emergency responders as directed by site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access to assigned locations, observe visitor activity, and support established sign-in, identification, and entry procedures in accordance with site policies.
Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately; communicate relevant information to supervisors and authorized school personnel.
