Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will help monitor assigned areas through routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while creating a welcoming experience for tenants, guests, and staff.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to property management and/or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout office buildings, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or property-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, lobbies, loading areas, and/or other assigned locations to help support authorized entry, provide directions, and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Assist with reporting, incident documentation, and follow-up communication related to alarms, disturbances, trespassing concerns, and/or other security-related matters at the location.
