Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to construction transportation location personnel, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the construction site, transportation access points, perimeter, parking areas, and material staging areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and document vehicle, delivery, contractor, and visitor access in accordance with site policies, directing individuals to appropriate check-in locations and notifying designated personnel of concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and communicating observations to appropriate contacts.
• Prepare clear, timely activity reports and incident documentation, including observations from patrols, access-control activities, and construction-site conditions.
