As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Associate in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including lobbies, office areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter, to help identify potential concerns and report security-related issues.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and/or employee activity to help support site policies, assist with directions, and report suspicious behavior or unauthorized access attempts.
• Support day-to-day operations by completing assigned reports, maintaining awareness of site activity, and following post orders and emergency procedures in a professional manner.
