Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including lobbies, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations, helping to identify unusual activity and/or maintenance-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in support of property rules and after-hours access protocols, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or policy violations.
• Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by reporting hazards, disturbances, and/or suspicious activity, and assisting with escalated tenant or visitor concerns when appropriate.
