As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic industrial repair and fabrication location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and communicate concerns promptly. Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors while following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of fabrication areas, repair facilities, storage yards, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted operational areas, verify credentials, and document visitor and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, property damage, equipment concerns, and other security-related issues through detailed written and/or electronic reports.
