As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Alarm Panel Specialist in Burbank, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points and alarm activity, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience is required.
Supervisory experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control/badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or guests at a media and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, production spaces, common areas, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
Complete clear and accurate activity reports, incident reports, and daily logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
