As a Driving Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. Requirements

  • At least two years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify visitor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report access concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required reports.
  • Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and Allied Universal leadership while following post orders and escalation procedures.
