Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including offices, common areas, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required reports.
  • Communicate professionally with client representatives, employees, and emergency responders while following Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
