Job Description Security Officer - Unarmed Overnight Security Specialist in King Of Prussia, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge checks, assist employees and visitors with clear, professional communication, and document observations using site technology. Requirements

• The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor access control points, verify identification and/or authorization as required, manage visitor sign-in processes, and direct individuals to the appropriate areas in accordance with post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and escalating concerns through the appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Complete accurate reports including daily activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
