As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a residential community, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to residents, visitors, and staff while contributing to a welcoming environment. Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout residential common areas, streets, entry points, amenities, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity or property concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with community policies and access-control procedures.
  • Document patrols, incidents, observations, and interactions accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
