Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating relevant information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and support lobby, reception, and/or visitor management processes in accordance with site policies.
• Assist with monitoring equipment, sensitive work areas, and/or high-traffic spaces, while following post orders and reporting maintenance, access, and/or policy-related issues.
