Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a critical utilities location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service. This driving position offers the opportunity to support essential operations through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity while contributing to a secure environment.

Requirements

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Guard card is required
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to assigned locations, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized entry attempts or other security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications accurately and in a timely manner.
