Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will support access control and respond to security-related concerns while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities appropriate to a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility grounds, buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate security-related logs and incident reports.
• Observe and report hazardous conditions, suspicious activity, and potential policy violations to site leadership and emergency responders as appropriate.
