Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a technology-focused location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout buildings, offices, common areas, and perimeter locations to help to identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor and/or delivery activity in accordance with site protocols and assigned post orders.
Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, observations, and/or maintenance or security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and onsite contacts.
