As a Security Officer Unarmed Evening in Boynton Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A guard card is required.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify resident and visitor authorization, check credentials when required, and document arrivals, departures, deliveries, and/or contractor access in accordance with location guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while communicating relevant details to property management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential location and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and other security-related concerns.
  • Support community rules and property access protocols by providing clear directions, answering questions, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and/or amenity-related issues that may affect daily operations.
