About The Position

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy government transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support riders, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. In a role grounded in teamwork, integrity, and reliability, you will help foster a welcoming environment while responding to site needs with agility and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Security-related experience of 1+ years is required.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Handcuffing Certification is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of platforms, stations, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and public areas, assist with visitor and employee inquiries, and/or report maintenance, hazards, or policy concerns to site contacts.
  • Support Allied Universal protocols by observing daily activity, preparing clear reports, and/or communicating with local authorities or transit personnel when needed.
