Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a fast-paced retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and support customer-focused, security-related services. Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while supporting store personnel and visitors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, noting unusual activity and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and help to deter theft, trespassing, and/or policy violations through visible presence and timely reporting.
• Document incidents, routine activities, and/or suspicious behavior in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines and site expectations.
