As a Security Officer Driver in Sulphur, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and badge records, and support a controlled environment for personnel and operations. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly, and remain visible to help deter incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Possess at least one year of law enforcement experience, two years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or three years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor and control access to the chemical and petrochemical facility by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and communicating access concerns to appropriate site personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, access-control alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
  • Maintain accurate logs, reports, and shift communications related to access activity, incidents, and site-specific procedures.
