As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Route Security in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Security Officer for a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial real estate buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and contractor activity in accordance with property policies and established access-control procedures.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazardous conditions, and/or unusual activity to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
