As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control, and help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use technology to document activity. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, production areas, parking facilities, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors, and reporting unauthorized entry attempts or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
  • Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and other required records while communicating professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
