About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Perimeter Inspection in Santa Fe Springs, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. In this driving post, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, communicate concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, delivery documentation, and/or authorization for individuals and vehicles entering or leaving the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report security-related concerns according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouses, loading areas, parking areas, yards, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Document patrol findings, access activity, and incidents through clear and accurate reports, and communicate relevant information to designated contacts.
