About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Driver Patrol in Camden, AR , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at an aero and defense location as an unarmed patrol officer, helping to maintain a welcoming, security-related presence across assigned areas. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help to deter incidents, and deliver standout customer service through clear communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license that meets AU Driver Policy Requirements. Bring agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, issuing visitor credentials as directed, and directing employees, contractors, and visitors according to site requirements.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and/or access control systems, complete required reports and logs, and communicate updates to Allied Universal management and site contacts.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with evacuations, medical response coordination, and/or securing the area for responding personnel as directed.
