Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
A current guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information in accordance with site policies, and report suspicious behavior, restricted area violations, and/or facility issues.
Support assigned operations by observing environmental conditions, reporting maintenance and life-critical concerns, and following post orders and escalation procedures during routine and emergency situations.
