Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, process areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and authorizations, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access-related concerns according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site personnel and emergency responders as directed.
  • Prepare accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications while following Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
