As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Incident Documentation in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and report security-related concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Deliver exceptional customer service while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and report unusual activity, damaged property, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while communicating professionally with drivers, employees, visitors, and site management.
