As a Security Officer - Unarmed Day Shift in Juno Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access activity with strong customer service and communication. Requirements

• Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is required.
• Guard card is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and/or reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including buildings, exterior areas, and perimeter points, with attention to access control, restricted areas, and/or unusual activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points for employees, contractors, and visitors, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions at utility-related operations.
• Support day-to-day site operations by communicating clearly with personnel, following post orders, and completing required reports related to incidents, patrols, and/or notable conditions.
