Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, exterior areas, and perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns, access issues, and/or maintenance conditions.
• Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and/or restricted areas in accordance with site protocols to help support authorized access and report suspicious behavior or policy concerns.
• Complete routine reports, logs, and/or incident documentation related to daily activities, patrol findings, and escalated situations in a timely manner.
