As a Security Officer Unarmed Alarm Panel Response in Bethesda, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming guest experience. You will respond to alarms and incidents, communicate professionally with guests and staff, and document activities using computer or tablet systems. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Have customer service experience preferred.
  • Have alarm panel experience preferred.
  • Have loss prevention experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of hotel public areas, guest corridors, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Support a welcoming hospitality environment while maintaining a professional presence and documenting incidents and daily activities accurately.
