Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, following post instructions, and/or supporting emergency response activities at a corporate technology location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity and/or conditions requiring attention.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, employee, and/or contractor entry procedures in accordance with site policies and security-related protocols.
• Support day-to-day operations by communicating with site personnel, answering routine questions, and/or helping to address escalated situations with professionalism and courtesy.
