As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, monitor alarm panels, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service while supporting loss prevention efforts and using computer or tablet systems. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident documentation.
  • Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following Allied Universal and client site procedures.
