As a Security Officer - Unarmed Afternoon in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or first responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community, including common areas, building exteriors, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe community activity, assisting with visitor interactions, reporting maintenance or security-related concerns, and supporting a professional atmosphere at the location.
