As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a residential community, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to residents and visitors. You will communicate clearly, respond professionally to concerns, and support a welcoming environment. Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, parking areas, common areas, amenities, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe resident, visitor, vendor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters as directed.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
