As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or team members while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer lots, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response activities and reporting requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly.
