As a Security Officer TWIC Credential Driver in Beaumont, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will help maintain a secure environment by verifying credentials, managing visitor and employee access, monitoring entry points, and communicating professionally with site personnel. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. This is a driving position. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, screening visitors and contractors, issuing access badges, and maintaining accurate entry and exit records.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, buildings, perimeter areas, and restricted locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and emergency personnel while documenting incidents, observations, and access-control activities.
