About The Position

This position consists of walking a minimum of 3 miles per shift, securing buildings, and monitoring cameras. The role requires the individual to have or be willing to obtain CPR/FA/AED certification and possess a valid Michigan Driver's License with a clean driving record. Security Officers/Security Guards observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. This role involves frequent sitting, standing, and walking for long periods, potentially including climbing stairs and walking on uneven terrain. Additional physical requirements may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds. Securitas plays an essential role for its clients and in society by providing security services to meet unique client needs, helping to safeguard people and assets. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring premises, patrolling various locations, preserving order, and enforcing regulations. Security Officers often provide customer service and information to clients' employees and customers.

Requirements

Must have a clean driving record
Must be willing to train on all three shifts
Must have excellent Customer Service skills
Must pass our drug screen and background check
Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard
Need to have or willing to obtain CPR/FA/AED certification
Must have a Valid - MI DRIVERS License with clean driving record
