As a Security Officer Truck Gate in New Holland, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted production, warehouse, and office areas.
• Screen incoming visitors, contractors, and deliveries according to location protocols, maintain accurate access records, and communicate access-related concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and escalating security-related issues when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, facility concerns, and policy violations, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
