As a Security Officer Access Control in Denver, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a busy retail location, you will help monitor entry points, verify access, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, visitors, and staff. This role blends customer service, communication, and technology use while helping with security-related concerns. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
Monitor and help control access at designated entrances, exits, and restricted areas by verifying credentials, directing visitors, and documenting arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with store leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the store, entry points, receiving areas, and perimeter, with awareness that working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Support loss prevention and security-related operations by observing activity, reporting concerns, and helping to deter unauthorized access, disruption, and/or policy violations.
