As a Security Officer Truck Gate in New Holland, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. At a busy food and beverage location, Allied Universal Security Officers help manage access control, monitor entry points, and conduct routine patrols to support a secure environment. This role combines strong customer service and communication with visible presence and attention to security-related activity. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at a food and beverage location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify badges, credentials, and/or visitor authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Document visitor activity, deliveries, and/or unusual events in site logs and reports, following post orders and established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting access concerns, unsecured entry points, and/or conditions that may require follow-up.
