Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, issue visitor badges, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized personnel, deliveries, and/or contractors in accordance with site requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, including entrances, perimeter areas, parking locations, and production-related access points, to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
  • Document access-control activities, incidents, and shift information accurately and promptly using required reports and logs.
