Requirements

  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential verification, and/or visitor management protocols at the location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, review identification and/or delivery documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, loading zones, and/or operational spaces.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to gates, parking areas, dock doors, trailer yards, and/or other access-sensitive locations.
  • Document security-related activities, incidents, access exceptions, and/or policy concerns, and report observations that could impact daily operations or site procedures.
