About The Position

As a Security Officer - Train Enforcement in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a public transit location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to passengers, employees, and visitors. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Handcuffing certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and/or transit personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, vehicle access points, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate transit personnel, emergency responders, and/or supervisors as needed.
  • Observe and report suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, access-control concerns, and policy violations, completing accurate incident reports and daily activity logs.
  • Assist with directing visitors and passengers, providing general location information, and maintaining a professional presence at assigned government transit locations.
